Command Syntax

Creating a connection
/connections create !:name :channel :max_connections
A connection is literally where everything starts or where everything originates, so nothing better than creating your own connection with your own customization, right?
The name of your connection must be unique and in the maximum 25 chars, connections can not have the same name, the name is like an unique ID.
Wow, do does this mean I can go around looking for any connection with some random name? Yeah, of course, but connections can be private, so you will need the invite to join in these connections.
Options
Name
The unique name of the connection that you want to create.

Channel
Optional if you want to automatically connect in the connection after creating the connection.
Max Connections
This is how Connections helps you prevent multiple unknown users from connecting to your connection and creating confusion.
Using this option, you tell Connections how many users/servers can connect to this connection,
so if you pass the value 10
, only 10
servers will be able to connect to this connection
Joining/Leaving a connection
/connections leave !:name
/connections join !:name :channel
Permission
Only trusted admins and the physical owner can run this command.
Options
Name
The connection name you want to join/leave.
Note, to join private connections you will need to join via the dashboard of your server
Channel
This options is only available in the /connections join
command.
The channel you want to use when joining in a new connection, if not provided, Connections will create a channel automatically with the name of the connection you are connecting.
When you leave or join in a connection, Connections will automatically log your action in the logs channel
Deleting/Editing a connection
/connections delete !:name
/connections edit !:name !:max_connections
Permission
Only two kind of person can edit or delete a connection:
Creator
The original creator, only this guy can delete the connection, but other users can edit the connection (See the second part).
Members
If your connection belongs to a team and there are other members in the teams, the members will be able to edit the connection (can’t delete).
So take care the members you put in the team that you connection is in.
Options
Name
The name of the connection you want to edit or delete.
Max Connections
This option is used to determine how many servers can connect in this connection (Min 2, Max 1000).
Others
There are a lot of other options that you can edit in a connection, such as tags, description, icon, whether the connection is private or not etc.
To edit them, you will need to use the dashboard of your connection.
